Title | DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING MODEL FOR COMPETENCY IMPROVEMENT |

Abstract | The research aimed at developing model, analysing eligibility and effectivity of the model of training for competency improvement of madrasah supervisor in South Sulawesi. The research methodology is based on R & D approach advocated by Dick Carey and Carey. The result indicates that the training model for competency improvement of madrasah supervisor (P2KPM) consist of strategic model and a social system of training. The steps in implementing the model apply Syntax ICARE. The results from the aptness analysis show that P2KPM Model are proven to be highly applicable through expert validation, One to One Evaluation, Small Group Evaluation, and through implementation of the final model = field Evaluation. The training model for competency improvement of madrasah supervisor are very effective referring the significant discrepancy scores between pre and post tests. |

Abstract | Basically bureaucratic reform is a change in bureaucratic elements such as institutions, human resources, management, accountability, apparatus, supervision and public services, in order to adjust environmental dynamics. One of the successes of bureaucratic reform is shown by the absence of corruption, but in the Province of West Java the perception index of corruption is still very high and the West Java Provincial Education Service is the one who receives the most disciplinary penalties. The formulation of the problem in this study is how much influence the bureaucratic reform on performance of the State Civil Apparatus in the Education Service, West Java Province. The research design in this study is quantitative research. By using stratified cluster random sampling, a total sample of 395 employees was obtained. The research method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using AMOS 21.0 software. The results of this study indicate that bureaucratic reform has a significant effect on performance by 28.4%, (p <0.05). |

Abstract | The aim of this research is describing of the leadership of the Khalwatiah Samman Caliphate, the obedience of the Samman Khalwatiah Congregation, and the influence of the Khalwatiah Samman tarekat leadership on compliance.Moreover, the obedience of the Khalwatiah Samman congregation is informal that there are no formal regulations that require followers to submit to the leader or Syekh. The research method by using random sampling. Collection data through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis examined more deeply to see the influence between research variables, namely the leadership variable of the Khalwatiah Caliphate, and the obedience of the Khalwatiyah congregation. Observation and experience of empirical facts that occur in the object under study. Discussion of all variables, describing the image of the leadership of the Caliph Khalwatiyah Samman, a description of the obedience of the Caliph Khalwatiah Samman congregation and the influence of the Caliph Khalwatiah Samman leadership on compliance. |

Abstract | This study conducted within the aim to determine the motivation of teachers in improving the quality of madrasa aliyah students in Soppeng Regency and to know the efforts of teacher motivation in improving the quality of madrasa aliyah students in Soppeng Regency. This study uses qualitative-descriptive research by observation, interview and documentation. The source of research data was selected by using purposive sampling technique. While data analysis uses in-depth interaction analysis techniques by exploring information from as many informants as possible from educators (interactive analysis models) by taking steps in data collection (data collection), data reduction in data presentation and then pulling in a conclusion. Checking the validity of the findings (trustworthiness) is based on several dependability and confirmability and restriction criteria. Testing the validity of the data used several techniques including the addition of observation time. |

Abstract | Nowadays, higher education is becoming increasingly globalized and internationalized. Malaysia today aspires to be a regional hub of higher education where internationalization is believed to be the best empowerment approach to throw the country’s higher education to world class. This research paper aimed to study the various factors influence international student’s intention on progressing their higher education in Malaysia. The total response collected is 200 international students in Malaysia from different level of education with various nationalities. the method of sampling techniques in this research will the non-probability sampling in the form of convenience sampling technique. Technique of regression analysis and Pearson Correlation in SPSS is used to identify the impact and to test the hypothesis. The findings are beneficial to the policy maker whereby the results could become inputs for them in formulating related policies. |

Abstract | This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Walinagari leadership from the Pre-Colonial Period, the Colonial Period, the Japanese Colonial Period, the Old Order, the New Order, and finally the Reformation Period, by comparing the dimensions of leadership dynamics which include: (i). Human relations in leadership; (ii). Decision-making process and (iii). Control in leadership at each time period. The research design used is qualitative, research data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study found that the patterns and styles of Walinagari leadership in realizing leadership dynamics that refer to the three dimensions stated above, it turns out that in certain periods of experience experiencing development and degeneration of so that at each time has its own peculiarities in realizing its leadership. |
